Studio & Exhibition artists share a serious interest in creating and exhibiting work. Across programs, staff and volunteers support artists with developing their creative practice and pursuing opportunities aligned with their personal and professional goals.

The North Pole Studio has three programs: Main Studio Program, Exhibiting Artist Program, and workshops + classes.

Studio & Exhibition Programs

Eligibility for Studio + Exhibition Programs

  • Must be 18 years or older (if you are 16, check out available classes).

  • Identify with autism or an intellectual/developmental disability.

  • Demonstrate a serious interest in exploring creative self-expression through the arts.

Main Studio Program

This program provides local artists with the space, materials and staff support to create, exhibit and sell their original work. Artists receive individualized guidance to cultivate a self-directed personal and professional practice, developing a portfolio of exhibition-ready work.

Membership Options:

up to 6 studio hours p/week: $100/month 
up to 8 studio hours p/week: $150/month
up to 12 studio hours p/week: $200/month

Monday: 10a - 1p
Tuesday, Wednesday: 10a - 3p
Thursday: 12p - 5p
Friday: 10a - 3p

Exhibiting Artist Program

This virtual program serves artists from across the country who work from home, live in services desert or face barriers to physical attendance. Artists receive professional support with documenting, marketing and selling their work. There is no membership fee, and a percentage of every art sale goes back into the studio to support this programming.

This program is available to local and out-of-state Artists.
