Thatcher “TJ” Lightburn is originally from Denver, Colorado and currently lives and creates art in Portland, Oregon. A self professed “left-handed renaissance man”, TJ experiments with many media from welding to illustration to flipbook-making.

  TJ is inspired by vibrant imagery including flowers, dreams, nightmares, and psychedelia culture of the 60’s and 70’s. He compares the dynamism in psychedelic imagery to the inner workings of his mind. 

TJ’s most recent work explores his newfound love for painting, which he continues to explore, develop and refine.
