Both in her studio practice and work life, Odessa is hard worker and art is a way for her to find relaxation, passion and happiness.

Odessa creates art about things she feels most passionate about. Her technique is grounded in the clean, detailed style of anime. She draws on both historical and current themes in her work, finding inspiration in greek mythology and renaissance paintings, as well as contemporary figures such as her recent series of female wrestlers.

Odessa is interested in fine detail and facial expression, and works across mediums such as charcoal, ink, graphite and pen.
