John Mosser (b. 1968) is an established self-taught artist who has been living and making art in Portland for years, recently joining North Pole Studio this summer of 2024. John formerly created at Portland Art and Learning Studio, a local fellow Progressive Art Studio that closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. After a years-long pause, John has recently regained access to the materials and support required to pursue his creative practice. John is well known for his extraordinary, expansive collection of seemingly kinetic truck studies.
