DOUG WING

Doug Wing (b.1955) is a lifelong artist working across a variety of mediums, most notably photography and paint. Doug creates both at Portland-based supported studio, North Pole Studio and in his home studio in Canby, OR which is a work of art in itself. His studio walls are papered in his photographs of his life experiences and filled with paintings -- even his studio door serves as an ever-evolving work of art.

Doug’s abstract paintings often depict urban areas and are marked by blocks of bold color, deliberate lines, and specific letter combinations. Doug's recent works explore vintage and contemporary cameras through painting, photography, ceramic and found-object sculpture.
